The technology's built-in cooling system keeps patients comfortable during the treatment. Dr. Shimer recommends that you get 4 – 6 sessions over several weeks to achieve your best results. Your treatments are spaced out in order to give the treated areas time to heal. It also allows time for follicles in the dormant phase to reach the phase of active growth so they can be treated.

Your Laser Hair Removal Treatment

Although this procedure is mostly gentle in nature, your skin may look like it has a slight sunburn since lasers are used. After your session, you are free to go back to all normal activities, but you need to refrain from heavy activity or extended time outdoors for a period of 24 hours to let the treated areas heal. When you get home after your treatment, we suggest anti-inflammatory creams or ice packs to treat any mild discomfort. You can typically expect to see some hair reduction right away, but maximum results will take a few sessions.
