Counsellor Florrick is an Elf wizard and advisor to the Archduke who players first meet in Act 1. She strives to use her political position to do good, making her one of the most lawful good characters in Baldur's Gate 3. If players manage to save her from the burning building in Act 1, Counsellor Florrick appears again in both Acts 2 and 3. In the latter scenario, she is captured in Wyrm's Rock Prison and desperately needs the players' help to escape, otherwise she will be executed within five in-game days. While saving her is optional, many gamers choose to help Counsellor Florrick and avoid her death. One Baldur's Gate 3 player chose not to free the elf and learned the weight of this decision the hard way.

The player expressed that while they were aware Florrick would be executed, they were not expecting such a horrid display of her body outdoors.
